What's New at the Library
Middle Level, Biola University Library, February 1 - May 27, 2016
Torah: The Story of the Scrolls is presented by the Museum of Biblical and Sacred Writings and seeks to explain the history and significance of the Torah Scroll, which is the Five Books of Moses inscribed by hand on the skin of a kosher animal.
You asked for more library hours, and we listened! Beginning the 2016 Spring Semester we will open at 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, we will be open later on Fridays, closing at 8 p.m.
The Library is pleased to partner with Information Technology Services (IT) to provide the Biola community access to lynda.com. Lynda.com provides thousands of high-quality instructional videos on a wide range of topics, including software design, film editing, the research process, marketing, music, art, and how to improve teaching with humor.
To easily find books and media items in the stacks, we have implemented a new feature called StackMap. When viewing an item's call number in the catalog, you will now see a "Find It" button.
